Give the gift of self-care to your teen daughter – a mum and daughter session
Aunties, grandmas and other female caregivers very welcome!
In this two-hour session, you will have precious time with the young woman in your life (12-17).
When life is busy, having an opportunity to hang out, share new experiences, laugh, and spend time together is bonding gold.
There will be partner yoga and a nourishing yoga nidra relaxation (bring your softest, cosiest blankets to snuggle up). To think about self-care through the whole month,
Tessa will give an introduction to the Inner Seasons of the menstrual cycle with mindful colouring, guided journaling and sharing in your mother/daughter duo. We’ll finish with yummy energy balls approved by Tessa’s daughters!
About Tessa
Tessa is a mum of two daughters, an experienced yoga teacher and menstrual educator. After watching the programme Adolescence, she felt that one of the best things we can do for our young people is to spend time with them. Her advice: tell your daughter you want to hang out with her and you’ve booked a session at Yoga Reading. Then let Tessa do the rest. She’ll introduce your daughter to some practices that will support her wellbeing as she grows up.
