Let’s be honest, having a menstrual cycle doesn’t always feel amazing. At school we were given the bare bones of what it means to menstruate, but how to work intelligently and intuitively with our bodies was not covered.
In this workshop, we will explore the concept of the Inner Seasons to have a new language to pace our energy and how we care for ourselves through the whole month. This includes how to prevent overwhelm and putting boundaries into place.
Using different yogic and somatic practices for different phases of the cycle, you will see how you can study / work / live better when you’re aligned to your physiology. A nourishing restorative yoga nidra will underline the importance of resting smart. Tessa will also share simple nutritional ideas to support your hormonal balance. She
About Tessa:
Tessa has a MSc in Nutrition, Exercise and Public Health from University of Bristol and is a graduate of the Red School Menstruality Leadership programme. She is a senior yoga teacher and author of nine books, including Circle Holding: A Guide to Facilitating Talking Circles.
