How often have you seen your students stop exercising, or pause their yoga practice, because of repeated injuries or continual niggles when training?
Would you like to understand why common movements could be causing them pain? A lot of these issues are avoidable with a range of practical modifications and progressions to insure a safe and healthy approach to your teaching.
This workshop will provide you with an understanding of functional anatomy so you can work with students to safely modify their practice.
In this workshop you will look at techniques for modifications of common postures and pain complaints, including:
Warriors
Triangles
Standing forward folds
Hip external rotation poses
Backbends
You will leave with a firm understanding of pose mechanics and practical modifications and support for your students.
